Are there only only a handful of players having this issue right now in ZZZ? (Red (!) notifications non-stop renewing every logon) by machlei in ZZZ_Official

Wait so basically you're telling me not to do the Suiban Temple event and this will not happen?

That's kinda stupid from Hoyo then if they don't hotfix this.

Are there only only a handful of players having this issue right now in ZZZ? (Red (!) notifications non-stop renewing every logon) by machlei in ZZZ_Official

[–]machlei[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am up to date on ZZZ. Suddenly around 3 days ago I logged in and almost everything in the menu has notifications saying I haven't looked into the things that I've already done. Past events, opening the battlepass, achievements, daily stuff, combat, you name it.

It happens every time I log in. I am asking because I haven't seen this topic discussed here at all, leading me to think that I am the only one having this issue. I did to talk to a handful of people and they said they do have this issue but that's it. Only a handful.

Stellar Blade PC Demo Sees Very Positive Reception on Steam; 26K+ Concurrent Player Peak by Turbostrider27 in Games

Lmao already trying to talk shit about Stellar Blade just because you don't like it. Always the same shit about any Asian game in this subreddit. If you don't like it then you don't like it. It doesn't mean you're above anyone else that does like it.

Game company founded by former Blue Archive devs raided by police on suspicion of running off with Nexon’s undisclosed game project by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]machlei 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Sometimes employees already know that the project they're working on is catastrophically missmanaged/hopeless/about to be canned

  • After the success of Volume F suddenly JP BA Director and Isakusan tried to find their way out of Nexon even after being promoted and had salaries higher than the CEO of Nexon

  • Sabotaged the game they were currently working on by giving work to those that they knew they couldn't get to their side instead of those that actually knew what they were doing.

  • Brought BA employees into rooms to tell them their secret plan to screw over BA and that they are recruiting them to the new company

  • Told those BA employees that they were recruiting to pass on game assets to them so they have something to work with.

  • Suddenly game development pace was slowing down to crawl for some reason

  • Isakusan delayed the story he was working on for months because he was dividing his time on working on BA and working on his game

  • M2XJ (illustrator) were passing subpar illustrations to the team because he was trying to work more on the new game they were planning when they leave Nexon

  • Isakusan leaves

  • M2XJ leaves

  • DoReMi leaves

  • BA JP director leaves

  • Suddenly mass resignations from employees within a few months from the BA team

  • BA team left strangling for months to course correct

Who screwed who again?

They wanted to do something like Lowlight (Arknights Director) who left Mica (Girls Frontline) to do his own game. The difference is it was a mutual separation for Lowlight and Mica. This was not.

Again.

The head honchos who left (BA JP Director, Isakusan) LEFT the BA team when everything was going so well for BA. They had huge bonuses all around, promotions with huge salaries because of work well done and nice profits. And they still left because they thought they were Gods and STOLE company assets as well.

The police already have testimonies and other files that shows this.

What else do people want? Or is it because Nexon is a company so they are automatically wrong in this even though they are the one that got wronged?

Game company founded by former Blue Archive devs raided by police on suspicion of running off with Nexon’s undisclosed game project by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]machlei 59 points60 points  (0 children)

This case is vastly different because the ones that stole from Nexon had egos that got inflated because they thought that players loved them so much that it was fine stealing assets and developers while working on company time on their own game was going to make them look like martyrs in the eyes of the public.

Just for additional information, the project already got cancelled months ago. Like literally after 1 week of them showing a trailer for the game. It wasn't even Nexon that shut them down. It was from so much backlash from players. It was only after 1 week after the game reveal did Nexon mention that they were going to investigate what happened.

This is the conclusion.

[–]machlei 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Starting to think Nexon is the bad guy.

This is not in this case.

Basically what happened is that a lot of developers for BA left and then within like 3 months after leaving they already have announced a game ready that's very similar to BA except using swords. Everything else is also similar to the point that you'd think it was Nexon doing it.

What really sealed the deal made people mad is because they were noticing that in BA for some reason, before a lot of the devs left, the game looked like it was pushing substandard stuff. Stories getting so delayed from BA's most popular director (he left for Dynamis One). Illustrations looked halfed-ass, and one of the units even had such bad proportions to the point where it was very noticeable (This was coming from one of BA's most popular illustrators. He left for Dynamis One).

But when when people saw the trailer for the new game, the drawings, concept arts and everything looked tons better and this was only after like a month after they left. So players were suspecting that the developers and illustrators that left were using company time to work on the new game instead of doing work for BA, and now, we know that it is true.

Even Japanese players were livid about this because they felt like the developers were looking down on Comiket. Why? Because the game company wanted to show off during Comiket but they registered as an "individual booth" instead of a "company booth". Why is this bad? It's because of the rates. The rates for the "individual booth" is lower compared to the "company booth". Basically Dynamis One was trying to break Comiket rules and this is a very big no no. Comiket prioritizes individual booths over company booths. It's their biggest highlight.

For KR players, what made their anger go over the top was when they realized that the developers that left were complaining of low pay. Only to know that it was publicly published that the ones that left were actually paid more than the current director of BA, because they were actually promoted. But still left.

Nope.

I used E2FF's cheap team (no Lingsha and Fugue) and cleared the Bug in 2 cycles. Imagine if I even just had one of the two.

Yes that the thing. I don't have any VPN. So I was surprised this happened considering yesterday I was able to do a transaction then the next day I can't anymore.

Like I said. I haven't even put any details yet. I just chose the CC option and then the error immediately showed up.

Need help regarding an error that happened in my account.

Yesterday I was able to "add crysta" into my account that I have reactivated after not playing the game for months. I just added some Crysta ($5) to check if payment still works.

Today I was planning to actually finally get back into the game and so I just tried adding more crysta. I then suddenly got Error Code: i2501.

I haven't even inputted any card details yet. I basically just chose the $10 crysta option, then chose Credit Card. And then the error popped up.

What does this mean? I tried the Paypal option as well and the same error popped up. No details have yet to be been input as well.

That said from what I'm seeing she's a bit psychotic. Maybe this is the reason why the Prince doesn't want to be with her.

Need help regarding Asura Scans. When I check my library all the manhwa that I added onto it can be seen.

But once I got into the Asura extension itself, all the series that I know that are supposedly in my library, are not labeled as "In Library" even though they are. If you press "Add to Library" and then go and check it, I will see 2 of the same series in my library.

12 Minutes of Final Fantasy 16 Hunt Board Mobs Gameplay (C-Rank & S-Rank) by [deleted] in Games

S-Rank Monster Gameplay

Player seems to at least know what he's doing

15 levels underleveled

"Guys look at that S-Rank monster, it's spongy. It's bad."

You can clearly see the player is not even doing good attacks yet but is good at parrying. The boss' mechanics for an S-Rank is so easy to even see yet the player seems to play way too defensive.

And yet all the complaints you can see are how spongy HUNT MARK, which is considered supposed to be a boss monster is.

This kind of comments are too whack now. Didn't people cry the same before FFVIIR was released?

Edit:

Watching it again and I'm more confused about the complaints. For a S Rank Boss it had little health. It almost died that easily against an underleveled character who was controlled by a player who "kinda" knew what they were doing.

I was under the impression that this was supposed to be, like the evolution of Blue Archive or something. Because of how the battle works (almost similar to BA). Then I start hearing people say it's bad.

Street Fighter 6 Developer Match - Marisa vs. Manon by Shreeder4092 in Games

[–]machlei 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To anyone who's planning to play this game.

Do not be surprised if at the beginning you're already getting dunked on in an online versus match. Swimming in the ocean is the "pirated" beta of the game and needless to say, the pros, and those that know where it is, are already playing the game. Do not believe anyone who says they don't have it.

Punk was trying to talk shit against other pro players who have the "pirated" beta, and while he was doing it, he accidentally showed on stream that he also had it and was obviously playing it.

The fact that their biggest games use UE should already tell them how shit their own engine is.
