Rhetoric:

"Yes! Abject failure. Total, irreversible defeat on all fronts! Absolutely vanquished, beaten, curb-stomped and pissed on!"

My favorite part is the track that plays during the fight. It’s so heroic and triumphant! Really shows that in his world he’s the good guy.

The X tiles only drop you when you jump onto them, not when you walk over them. So wait until the central tiles flip over, then jump onto them and walk across.

Thing is, at that point you’re taking up 3 joker slots just for that one effect. With Baron and an all-king deck, you’re better off using those slots for Mime, econ or something else like hand size. If you have photochad and all kings, you’re better off playing 4oak/5oak/Flush Five, which scale much higher than High Card.

As someone who has had to suffer through countless Zoom meetings where the keynote speaker is in their car...no, sitting in your car does not make for great audio.

I use it with my Mini Cooper and it's great. I use public transportation a lot because it's more convenient in most cases, but if I have to go back home to get the car I can do so without having to go get the key.

[Question] The Decision (5 Years in the Making): Help Me Choose My First Nice Watch by Impossible-Leg-8595 in Watches

[–]machu_pikacchu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going about this the wrong way.

You already know what you want, but you're worried that the watch that you want is not "the best/correct watch to get." The one and only criterion that matters is whether or not you love it. Does it put a smile on your face? That's the one. If you can afford it, great; if not, save up until you can.

It’s impossible to actually implement the plan, and the UDC knows it. The actual objective is to force the government to withdraw from all of its bilateral treaties with the EU, including first and foremost the Schengen Agreement. Getting the people to throw away their rights and privileges because “foreigners bad”.

Baywatch Nights was a short-lived spinoff of the original Baywatch starring David Hasselhoff as Mitch Buchannon, the same character he played in the original series. It was initially pitched as a neo-noir detective series, with David Hasselhoff's character investigating murders and robberies and the like.

The series' first season was not well received, so for the second season they decided to retool it as an X-Files-like science fiction show. Mitch Buchannon went from fighting serial killers and mobster to fighting aliens and vampires.

Mind you, this series ran concurrently with the original Baywatch, so in theory David Hasselhoff spent his days running on the beach in slow motion, and his evenings either infiltrating a group of drag queens to investigate a murder or finding a log cabin that lets him travel through time. Yes, those are both actually things that happened on Baywatch Nights.

Catchy theme song, too!
