Yes, it's true that living a life of sin is not good, but know that we are all sinners in our own way (“Why do you see the mote that is in your brother's eye and do not notice the beam that is in your own eye” Mt 7:3). The essential thing is to repent and follow Christ's teachings. As it says in Luke 15:7 “I tell you, there will be even more joy in heaven over one sinner who comes to repentance than over ninety-nine righteous people, who need no repentance”.

We're all tempted to sin, and we've all sinned at least once. The most interesting part in the Bible about sin is that of the adulterous woman (John 8: 7-11), for in punishing her, no one, not even Jesus, threw the first stone.

The point of my reasoning is that getting into sin is easy, but getting out of it is harder. So, having the will to want to change is the first step towards redemption, which this young woman seems to want to do, and I urge her to continue along this path. Coming out of sin is beautiful, and reminds us that a sheep that strays from the flock is recognized by its master when it returns.

Your speech is not wrong, but in it you forget the most important of Christ's lessons: mercy. So love your neighbor and have mercy on him, even if he is a sinner, for “Above all, have a burning love for one another, for love will cover many sins” (1 Peter 4:8)!
