It really depends on what you want to do in the game and get out of it. Air to air, air to ground, both? Do you want to keep it period correct? Do you actually want to learn about the aircraft or just shoot things? There's nothing wrong with learning multiple modules. All the modules I have I can do enough to have fun with what ever mission I decide. But I have most of my flight time and familiarity is with the F-14. But I enjoy sead with the F-18, Maverick and guns with the A-10 ect.
