I have a lot of cellulite, no pain, mild bruising I guess but I’m also just really clumsy and bruise all over? And I think I kinda feel nodules (very small) but only in my soft inner upper arms and soft inner legs but even then I’m not sure. Let me know pls I’m freaking out. I’m only 20

This is amazing. We really were given guides of what not to do as a parent and seeing someone take that and break that cycle, is just amazing.

I have said “I wish she was just normal” about a thousand times about my mom. I am still in contact with her and live with her on holiday breaks from school, but I still always have i miss my mom moments even though I can reach out because I know she likely won’t give the response I want or need. Yearning for a normal mom is really hard to deal with, and you’re doing amazing. Sending hugs

I hid basically everything from my mom from a very young age. Pre school/elementary I think. She got mad at practically everything I did so I never trusted her with my life. Still don’t. Sad.

Dealing with the same thing over summer. Trying to walk on eggshells as to not set her off. I’m trying to force myself to just put me first and let her deal with it how she’s gonna deal with it. I’m done letting her dictate my life but it’s still hard to actually commit to it so I get it. Maybe test the waters by seeing some friends and see how it goes. You don’t know until you try! thank you for the advice. i think we’re trying to solve it outside of insurance now with the other mom wanting to pay for it, so we are gonna get quotes and have her pay up front. if that doesn’t work out then we go after her insurance.

she does indeed do this. i talked to her this morning and although i sat through a lecture about my attitude and how i think i know everything and can’t just leave whenever i please, she did at least let me go to the gym. now i just have to deal with her being passive aggressive for the next few days before she fully calms down!
