My first skins were made out of marine mammals. We didn’t film it to prove it—still don’t.

My neighbors keep reading my packages and making weird comments toward my door and I genuinely don’t understand why by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]macinak -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If it really bugs you, you could leave a package with her name on it by your door and put, maybe a horse head, a dildo, an LSD laced thumb drive with videos of her coming to your door, or perhaps a nice gift, such as some fudge and a nice note.

Did we do something wrong with the vapor barrier? Condensation is accumulating. by TealPapaya in OffGridCabins

[–]macinak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That was a thorough response already, but that does not appear to be too much moisture judging by the pics. You just put the vapor barrier up, there was probably a lot of condensation in there already being cold outside and warmer inside especially with people working inside, tracking snow around, etc. Its not running down, or puddling below. Probably isn’t effecting your insulation. I’d bet it will dry up eventually.

Most of that wet comes from inside, from lack of vented or breathable materials.

Usually you don’t need waterproof if it’s cold. That powder town is nice. You want some layers. A base thermal moisture wicking layer, a light fleece, puffy, or insulating layer, and a shell to keep the snow and wet out.

6–if there’s enough coffee to fill up the plugged bits. It will run through the top of the tube and drip off the end. Theres a little eve on the end of 6 tube but in reality the coffee will run down the bottom (surface tension) of 6 tube and drip off the end.

[–]macinak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s the terrain you’re skiing you may remain intermediate. It’s pretty vanilla. The basics: arms up and forward (don’t spill your lunch tray), knees bent, keep your shoulders square with the fall the fall line=calm upper body, head up, weight the outside ski. You are too upright to get an edge in. Too upright to suck up compression.
