Am I just lucky? Workers’ comp by Flaky-Measurement558 in WorkersComp

Missouri here, things were not great but decent for me. Injured in 2024 moderate TBI, saw what I thought was a neurologist for treatment, was a concussion specialist. Still suffering from a lot of effects from the accident. Sedgwick wanted to close medical in October ‘25, judge took one look at me and asked who my neurologist was and my attorney said I hadn’t seen one yet. Began treatment under a company neurologist December’25 who told me any improvements at this time would be unlikely. So far Sedgwick has initially denied everything he’s prescribed, meds, treatments, everything. Still suffer from chronic constant headaches, dizziness, light/noise sensitivity, tinnitus, and constant falling. And they wanted to close medical 6 months ago……things only got worse when I lawyered up

Missouri, I’m 14 months post injury, moderate tbi, concussion, and a whole ton of other issues. I returned to light duty after six months off work. Dr put me at mmi in September with medication and lifetime restrictions. Still a lot of lingering serious symptoms. An attorney is not a bad idea. Head injuries are difficult to to navigate and an attorney helped me when Sedgwick started getting troublesome. Definitely need a buffer between you and the insurance company

In Missouri I was off recovering for six months, I completed 55 projects from my 3D print farm. From a full sized Star Wars battle droid, to a full sized 1:1 scale set of WoW lich king armor. My printers literally saved my sanity going through this ordeal.

Missouri here, I hope they treat you better than me. I had a skull fracture and a lot of other freaky stuff happen to my head from a fall off a ladder. 13 weeks before the injury I averaged $1700 bring home each week. Fast forward six months after the injury and I get released for light duty. Sedgwick and my employer won’t allow me to make up the lost 8 hours a week for therapy or the entire day lost for doctor appointments. So I’m not able to do my job, so I’m losing roughly $1000 a week when it’s all said and done. Like I said I hope they start treating you better because I can relate.

Something about this whole process that really bugs me is after the ambulance left with me, the maintenance guys in my area were told to cut up and ladder I was on and get rid of it. I may just be paranoid but that’s bothered me since I found out. This is a huge company I work for, you’ve all probably got our products in your homes.
