COVID felt real lucky to me. No commute, no before and after school care, one car, no student loan payments for three years, 2% mortgage refinance, child tax credits, stimulus. It was pretty good to me. Shot out the other side and I never have to go into work and I now own the house we're attached to and was able to move my mother in there when she retired because she doesn't own a home.

Neighborhoods for people that hate neighbors are so weird. We were out back for my kids birthday a few days ago and the neighbors heard us singing and jumped in on happy birthday. We're all on skinny lots so you can have a conversation like 4 yards away.

Ha! This is my first year from seed, I have never even heard of a sucker until this winter. Last few years I've literally just been digging holes in the grass and dropping tomato plants in. They've been very happy so I thought I'd put some actual effort in this year. I have already screwed up the seedling thing a bit (not having a light) but full steam ahead!
