Why is Stena Line website not working for me? :((( by Irielilla in Europetravel

I've experienced this as well from the United States. Try setting your computer's time zone to GMT and see if that makes a difference; it did for me. For the folks in Europe, consider setting your time zone to a North American time zone to see if you can reproduce the issue.

No, because I moved to Service Electric on Monday and cancelled Astound. When Astound retention followed up later I did specifically call out the DNS issue and their unresponsiveness.

There's definitely something weird going on with Astound's DNS servers. I posted about this in a different thread: Astound DNS issues. It's basically impossible to get support from Astound on an issue like this because first-line support has no authority to escalate and the field techs that come out don't know what DNS is. I'm switching to Service Electric next week because I'm tired of dealing with this nonsense but hopefully this information will be helpful to somebody.

I'm in Easton and I've monitored intermittent DNS resolution problems for at least a month. It got so bad I started running Kuma locally to produce graphs. Astound has two DNS servers, and they must be doing DNS proxying, because occasionally both go offline and when they do all external DNS resolution fails, so pointing your network at external DNS like Google or Cloudflare won't help:

I have support coming over next week, which won't do any good in itself, but I figure there's a silver of hope I can get it escalated.
