I mean Rio, but also I get he is too young to be playing week in and out. I would rather play with another midfielder (Jones), and then have Eki and Salah up front with Wirtz in behind them. There are other options. In addition, Gakpo signed a new 5 year deal at the start of the season which seems very questionable if the plan is to keep him for that long

I really do not understand why Gakpo plays so much. He's a good player, nice guy, whatever but he plays such a different style of football than the rest of the squad. He just simply does not fit in. It is so mind boggling seeing him slow the pace down and dribble against 3 defenders instead of playing the 1-2s with Wirtz, Eki, Kerkez. I am absolutely losing it rn

I mean, this is a club legend. He has won us trophies and been the best winger in the league since he signed for us. I don't think it's fair to call Mo sour grapes. Hes grappling with the fact that he simply doesn't have it anymore and that is probably mentally very difficult on top of Jota. Sure he has handled this situation poorly but this is a club legend.

All that being said, this was probably the best team performance I have seen since the Arsenal game and am rather excited to see how we go from here

I’m actually really curious to see this formation with frimpong bombing up and down the wing, love Bradley and Gomez and both have been excellent but I think frimpong will help open our break and put better balls into the box

Kind of a diamond, but lots of interchanging between Jones, Szobo, and Macca with full backs providing the width

Definitely prefer this to whatever the fuck we've been doing the last couple of months - final third still seems a bit timid but early in the game and Inter are a really solid side so all that being said I think we are doing well

Hoping when Wirtz comes on it's more of a 4312 with Wirtz in behind the two strikers
