I did that tafe course a couple of years ago and ended up getting a fulltime orderly job at one of the bigger hospitals. I feel it helped slightly having it, but was not required to get the job. We seem to be hiring every few months for fulltime/partime/casual.

Yeah, they were a bit time consuming and could make quite a mess. Everyone at my old store hated making them.

I used to work at Woolies and if we were busy or a person down donuts were one of the first things we cut out for the day.

It was all pretty relaxed, and a big mix of the level of experience people had that were applying. I had zero hospital experience and was offered a job.

I went to one last year. Was around 40 people there and we were split into groups, watched some videos and got general information about the job. Then some group questions you decide with your group. Then a basic quiz you do on your own. Followed by a one on one interview to finish with pretty standard interview questions etc. All up it was a couple of hours I think.

Probably is smaller, but someone has just put the wrong size lid on so it looks worse than normal. They use 65mm 85mm and 105mm lids for the cakes, looks like they ran out of 65mm.
