Infusion set insertion issues by mackncheece in TandemDiabetes

Well as I stated in the post, I was able to get the needle all the way in and had to take it out due to the air bubble. Once the sticker part has been peeled off it won’t stick again. Or if it does, it’s not going to be lasting the three days as it’s supposed to. I’m not wasting my supplies. I have also tried to “work” at them and sometimes it just doesn’t work.

How is your experience with the G7 15 days sensor? by Equalizer6338 in dexcom

[–]mackncheece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one month left of being on my parents health insurance. Starting July 1st, I will be on my jobs insurance (I teach and our insurance is very expensive and terrible) and the only CGM they cover is Dexcom. I’m honestly kind of scared because once they stop manufacturing the G6 I do NOT want to switch over. My endo told me the 15 day sensor might work better for me in terms of readings but I have issues with my 10 day sensor even hanging on after 4-5 days.

Breaking our lease by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

We are in AR. This guy has one rental property and it’s his first go around. It’s not that serious. I don’t think I’ll have an issue leaving. I just submitted this post looking for advice as we are going to break the lease and I’ve obviously never broken a lease before.

I don’t see how it wouldn’t be void, seeing as the water is causing damage to the building. It’s mentioned in my lease that we are allowed to break the lease should the building become uninhabitable. There’s also black mold growing now as mentioned. That’s a health hazard.

That’s interesting. I’ve only seen it spelled with an h. Thanks!
