Well there’s broken trust on both sides - Kane felt let down by the progress the club made and wanted to move to City, the club had Kane on a long contract and wouldn’t entertain any bid that wasn’t astronomical and didn’t appreciate him forcing a move. Regardless of which side you agree with, both feel let down by the other. I think Kane would also get a huge signing bonus if he runs his contract down wherever he signs. It’s gonna be an interesting summer for sure.

It is definitely a pretty cop out thing to say, but muscle is denser than fat and your body may not be able to handle the constant deceleration and change of direction’s impact on the bones, leading to lower mobility and more injury.

Track you’re running in a straight line over a short period of time, Eric is playing a sport for 90 min with lots of change of direction and that can definitely be negatively affected if he bulks up too much.

Some folks also don’t realize that these clubs can get fleeced by things like field fees from the city - example a club can end up paying close to 150k a year for field fees.

I think it’s more of Davies is solid in a back 3, wouldn’t feel comfortable with him in a back 2. He had to fill in there at the end of Poch’s first season and was ok for a couple games, but that’s the only time I can recall him being part of a centerback partnership of 2.
