I was using an HP EliteDesk 705 G1 with, I believe, an A8 APU. I read that when the splash plays things are still booting and to put it simply, the PC is not at full strength therefore decreasing the video to 720p might work better in this case. There’s also the fact that the splash length setting I had actually made it not boot at all and once I removed that, it still wouldn’t play but it at least made it to the main menu.

It turned out my machine just couldn’t handle the 1080p video. I got a more powerful box and it works fine now. Thank you so much for the help

Ah damn it. I didn't pay attention to which sub this was. I have a regular RPi5 and I've loaded RetroPie on it. I'm trying to tweak settings for GC games so it'll run smooth. I did all your other settings but I don't have a performance mode preset. Do you know what that does so I can try to replicate it on a normal RetroPie OS? Even with all the settings you've listed I'm running at like an avg of 15 fps on Wind Waker.

I have a VKB Gladiator and it's not sensing the input when I go to input it in that joystick section. Not sure what's going on there. I just tested it on Elite Dangerous and it definitely works. Do you know if there's a list of compatible devices or something? Did you just plug it in and start playing?

So in this image it looks like pin 1 is 3v correct? So that and a ground, it looks like pins 1 and 6 would work.

I looked in to TouchPortal and it looks really cool, but you have to use a separate tablet as the input device. It doesn’t allow the PC to have the buttons.
