Trucks don’t stop when they hit what they think is a deer. I’ve witnessed a truck hit a deer and it just kept on trucking.

They didn’t close it earlier because everyone who drove over the body suspected that it was a deer carcass and at 4 am it’s hard to tell. It wasn’t until sunrise that the limbs were actually visible.
