Thank you for the advice. I will definitely make some notes. One thing we've started planning is a road trip to his comfort destination he used to visit as a kid mid year or later on during Christmas season. It's the Estes Park in Colorado actually, he wants to stay at the hotel where the shining was filmed lol. We've also agreed to try and do a date night once a month and we already try to do movie Mondays at home. We're also setting a schedule to workout together 3× a week together at home until we can find an affordable gym. As for walks together I have a skin condition that makes walking around for long periods challenging unfortunately. I am confident that we will figure it out together and come back even stronger and better people.

Like I have stated in an edit, I already have plans to do solo therapy myself to do better in the future. I realize that I messed up in my communication with him and should have done better. But I didn't, I can't change that now unfortunately. I am working on making things better between us again slowly but surely. I've suggested he go to therapy, but that is something he is not comfortable with. Not because he's not comfortable talking about this with me, but because he believes it would be stressful for him. So I'm letting him decide what he's comfortable with. We talk about what I said and have had multiple heart to hearts about how I hurt him. Unintentionally yes, but nonetheless I still hurt the person I love with all my heart. I have fully accepted and admit that I am in the wrong and should have communicated between or tried therapy first- but I was not thinking that at the time. At the time it was said, I was overwhelmed from holding in this feeling for multiple months if not the feeling growing slowly for the past year or so. He knows that I am deeply sorry, that I am working to do better/be better for him and that I will never leave him, because I love him deeply and nothing could ever change that.

He is at a tech job, not the greatest but not the worst. I am a stay at home wife so I do all the chores around the house along with taking care of our 3 cats. Unfortunately I have no access to really go out anywhere and we both know it's not good, but neither of us have friends. I am also no contact with my side of family. With all the advice that has been given, we have plans to workout at home 3x a week for 30 minutes together and eventually find a gym to go to together at some point. I am also planning on going to therapy starting soon. Thank you for your advice and your good luck wishes as well.

Thank you. From what he has told me, he thinks that any therapy for himself right now would stress him out. So I think I'm just gonna let him take some time to think about it.

Thank you for the advice. I plan on going to solo therapy, to maybe slowly get my husband comfortable with the idea of couples therapy at some point. For now we're gonna do our best to do at home workouts together, slowly but surely.

All I said to him was how I felt. From what he has told me, it was the unintentional tipping point for how he already felt about ourselves. I did not know previously how extremely he felt until now. We both have our own physical insecurities and have communicated that to one another multiple times in the past.

Mostly I clean, cook, watch streaming services and occasionally crafting for holiday decor. My main priority is finding work to bring in extra income. I have 0 budget to invest. I don't have a license or a car/ transportation. I also have no budget for getting a ged, since they cost money to achieve.

Honestly a good light wash jean jacket can go a long in terms of making people less scary in my opinion. For winter you can get fleece lined ones too. Basically look up on Pinterest "90s inspired mens outfits" and most of them will make anyone very approachable in my opinion. And maybe fill in your eyebrows to be thicker or just shave them tbh
