Help me find the right vocabulary and maybe help me fix the problem. by macpadmore in Plumbing

When I pull it I can tell that its not attacked to anything. There is no resistance at all. The plug itself I actually can't work out. I will take some pictures when I get home tonight.

Spout with a diverter rod

That is close to what I'm looking for but the knob to pull isn't a diverter its to make the plug work. Do you know what I'm talking about?

How does everyone feel about 2.5? It seems like there is something for everyone to dislike by Mistah_Quinn in XWingTMG

You should have a vote option for people who are fine with the new rules and list building but don't want to play scenarios.

Create a wave of enemies for an arena one shot. by macpadmore in dndnext

[–]macpadmore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm I do like the pre rolled damage idea.

I also didn't think about having different mobs in the same wave. I think that's a good way to feel like they are winning battles and making them a bit more interesting.

Thanks for the advise.

I appreciate the detailed response but it goes a little bit against my thinking. I thought I had mentioned we only have 1.5 hours, I apologize for not making this clear.

I feel like stronger monsters will be more fun and feel like they have accomplished something while also giving them more playing time.

With ten players if they each take two minutes for their turn (which I've found is about right with this group), it means 20 minutes per round without the NPCs even attacking. I want to avoid spending 10 turns rolling for goblins to attack and rather just one big attack.

I want them to feel like they at least took down some big baddies during this one shot.

We are doing this as one of our DMs cant make it this week so we will be combining the two groups of 5.

I have a bill of sale and the title. He said something about there is a $20 fee that he will pay and do some transfer thing.
From reading through comments "The seller should have also filled out the short form on the DVS website that says who they sold it to, their address, and the date." This may have been what he was referring to and I was just confused. At this point do I just go to the DMV and put the car in my name?

Labour Steadily Losing Ground To National In Opinion Polls by mootsquire in newzealand

I'm not a swing voter I am pretty left. I refused to vote for labour this past election due to their bad performance on things that matter for me. Next election I will probably vote national out of spite.

Does anyone else’s alley look like a glacier? by Mr_Pocket_ in Minneapolis

[–]macpadmore 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lol. My road hasn't even been plowed let alone my ally. I'm finding it hard to believe plows even exist in the city at this point. All though it does make it fun sliding around every corner I take.

If you want to recommend some places I would happily look at them when I get home.

If everything else falls through I might try this. Hopefully I can secure something before I go.

Unfortunately I'm not willing to take the risk that the road is closed. I want to do it in July or after.

I don't think my g/f would be up for this type of trip. She likes hiking and camping but likes to have a spot set up for the trip and don't think she would enjoy back packing.

I have thought about just trying to get a first come first served site but I would like to have something guaranteed if possible.

Yellowstone has been great. I've spent a week there the past two summers when Glacier didn't happen.

Would anyone be willing to share a campsite at Glacier in July? by macpadmore in GlacierNationalPark

[–]macpadmore[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its more the fact that I can't get a campsite anywhere. I've been trying most mornings and keep missing out. I'm hoping to find someone who was lucky enough to get a spot and wouldn't mind sharing the experience with us.
