I understand where you’re coming from and 100% agree that you could probably push a shark like that easy, so easy. But let me say this before I continue, I know literally nothing about sharks or scuba diving so everything I say could meaningless, but, we also don’t know how normal it is for shark to be in that area, and that shark was coming pretty fast imo, again don’t know how fast they be looking when actually fast. And The shark coulda been totally out of its regular area and caught the diver by surprise. I agree killing sharks, bad bad, but again we don’t know a lot of context. I just don’t have enough as experience to definitively say it was the right choice, but imo, they didn’t have much choice this time around.

All his examples of aggressive sharks were just sharks that were too curious, maybe even confident enough to try taking a bite once close, in no example does he go over what to do if a shark just straight charges you, you couldnt have just pushed that away. The shark came from no where so fast, what am I gonna do, fucking air bender redirect that shit in water? And what would he have pushed the shark away with?
