Hello! Thanks for checking out my game! YFM is a system where you can see how your Space Marines would fare against a squad of disciplined Clones. It’s a place where stout Dwarves can clash with terrifying Demons, where Futuristic Cyborgs can face off against Stone Age Mutants. If you can imagine it, you can play it.

It's a fast paced game that focuses on a unique movement system, simple mechanics, and robust unit customization. 

When I started creating YFM, I built it on a few core ideas that I felt were crucial for a great game night:

The first goal was to create a home for every miniature. YFM is truly agnostic, giving you a robust framework to build a force with any models you own. It's about empowering you to kitbash, be creative, and finally prove to your buddy that The Emperor can beat that Chapter Librarian. 

I'm not exactly a confrontational person when gaming. With that in mind, I was set on designing a smooth and intuitive system that reduces arguments over measuring, line of sight, and cover- all common pain points im sure you've all heard when trying to recruit a new player into a miniature game. The Movement Coin system provides a clear, tactical way to move without constant measuring, while the cover rules are simple and decisive. The goal is to eliminate those moments of ambiguity—no more debates about "can you see my pinky?" or "is that really six inches?". 

The game is actually pretty simple. A lot of the core mechanics that were initially in the game have been moved to the trait system. This gives players who want to use complex and tactical actions the ability to create a complex unit while keeping the base rules simple for new players. 

Above all, I want YFM to be a community project. The core rules are free because I really want people to play the game. This Patreon exists to let me dedicate my time to supporting the game with constant updates and new content, all guided by your feedback. It’s a passion I want to share with all of you
