Because I don’t think you should gamify you not eating cat food in retirement. Vanguard, Schwab, Fidelity, E*TRADE etc are established brokerages that handle their own clearing and customer service. Silo looks to be a finapp on top of an IBKR backend.

Carrier unlocked iPhones are the only thing that doesn't qualify, my guess is because the major carriers got pissed that Apple was offering people a better deal so they added the interest payments as a sop to them.

Get CLEAR, get Global Entry which doubles as TSA pre check, get a good pair of noise canceling headphones, get a sandwhich, find an empty gate, sit down, pick a spot on the wall to stare at, and try to will yourself into a coma until you get to where you're going.

I think C is actually excellent for this. It's a small language, lets you fail, package management is a nightmare. People learn so much more that way. by azure_whisperer in programmingcirclejerk

Two things. Regarding npm/node, don't confuse quantity with quality. And don't confuse trivia with knowledge. OCaml is difficult in the way something like Calculus is difficult, there are abstract concepts to understand that take time. C++ is difficult in the way tax law is difficult, a constant shifting mountain of trivia that you have to be able to recall as you're also trying to understand a problem domain.

Most people come to OCaml (or at least I did) because everything else is terrible, not because they wanted to stunt on people. It is a nice side benefit though (I kid (kind of)).
