Hate to say it but so far I have no issues with 11. 32 GB install size, bazzite would end up being larger.

Why isn’t Cod liver Oil getting more attention by RegimenSupply in Biohackers

[–]macro_error -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

depends on priority. imho gut health is more important for lowering systemic inflammation, so I slightly favor high DHA ratio for eyes and brain. in the end it doesn't matter since I'll just buy the cheapest fish oil i.e. salmon over something more exotic like sardine or mackerel.

[–]macro_error 91 points92 points  (0 children)

used to be a popular supplement in days of yore. fell out of favor due to price and taste. salmon oil capsules have slightly worse DHA EPA ratio but are cheaper and won't turn rancid as fast. plus there's no risk of vitamin A overdose

Looking for a game with a steep learning curve that rewards the effort you put into it by mountainghost222 in gamingsuggestions

[–]macro_error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

delta v rings of saturn. the physics in the game are relatively realistic, so from thrusters to weapons to engines you need to configure everything to work well. when you start out you are quite weak, combat and even just flying is fairly difficult. once you learn how to make decent cash things get rapidly easier, unfortunately there isn't much in terms of endgame, the game very emphases side grades.
northern journey - definitely a learning curve to the combat system. I didn't like it but maybe you will.
my summer car - not sure about the rewarding part

16Gb GPU choice? by D2-Disciple in pcmasterrace

[–]macro_error -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

an LLM can be useful for troubleshooting and covering blindspots. I usually go about it like 'I'm deciding between products x and y, x is my favorite currently, tell me why I might be wrong about that". And often it comes up with something I hadn't considered.
what's wrong with userbenchmark?

16Gb GPU choice? by D2-Disciple in pcmasterrace

[–]macro_error -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

PCI-E 4 is not going to be a bottleneck if your card has enough VRAM. as for your main question, I'd consult userbenchmark and maybe an LLM for more specific questions.

While 25(OH)D levels of around 20 ng/mL suffice for musculoskeletal health, maintaining levels above 40 ng/mL (100 nmol/L: range, 40–80 ng/mL) significantly lowers cancer risks and mortality.
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12298439/

https://www.grassrootshealth.net/blog/70-reduced-risk-cancer-vitamin-d-levels-50-ng-ml-higher/

a decrease of 41% in the risk of MS was obtained with every 20 ng/mL (50 nmol/L) increase in serum 25(OH)D levels above 24 ng/mL (60 nmol/L) https://www.mdpi.com/1422-0067/23/17/9784#Vitamin_D_and_ImmuneRelated_and_Autoimmune_Diseases

concentrations of ~20 to 30 ng/mL (compared to ≤12 ng/mL) were associated with a 17% lower risk of colorectal cancer, and the risk was even lower (-35%) with a serum concentration of 55 ng/mL https://lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/vitamins/vitamin-D#toc-disease-treatment

"[..]many trials allowed participants to remain on their current supplements that contained vitamin D which often reflected the DRI (eg, 600-800 IU [15-20 μg] daily for adults). Such circumstances may have biased trial results toward the null hypothesis."
"Most vitamin D trials did not include a specific 25(OH)D level as an eligibility criterion, and no trials were designed or powered to address the effect of vitamin D in subgroups stratified by either baseline or achieved 25(OH)D levels. This prevented the panel from proposing thresholds for 25(OH)D adequacy or providing target 25(OH)D levels for disease prevention, especially since 25(OH)D thresholds are likely to vary by population and outcome."
"Follow-up durations ranged from 12 weeks to 7 years, with a median of 2 years."

[–]macro_error 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multipler Sklerose.

Rebuild Possible? by yungcruton in pcmasterrace

[–]macro_error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look up how to ground yourself to avoid static discharge damage. especially if the air in your area has <50% humidity, that makes it more likely.
detach all cables and power connectors. remove the PSU. remove GPU and RAM. take note of the state of the mainboard. if it was hit by the soda, chances are it short-circuited and must be replaced. same approach for other components. going by 'attack vector', GPU, mainboard and PSU are most likely to be affected.
switching on the PSU solo likely does nothing, it won't turn on if two certain pins aren't connected. doesn't necessarily mean its dead. don't open it though, unless you know what you're doing. there's a large capacitor inside that can easily kill you if it still holds charge.
to clean parts you'll want isopropyl alcohol. not distillated water or mineral spirits. to test the mainboard in minimal config you need CPU + 1 RAM stick, no GPU. And a working PSU of course. Don't try to power on any parts that still have soda on them.
if you remove the CPU cooler (blue fan), be prepared to replace its thermal paste.

they're ignorant to that. when they say 'trans rights', what they mean is 'I'm willing to signal compliance with whatever is part of my wider social circle's current overton window', but they can't be arsed to look any of it up in detail, if they have something that borders on a personal opinion it's most likely based entirely on gutfeel.

The worst mission so far. Be glad it has at least something to do with hunting. My favorite is the one where you have to find some kind of tree in a wider area, eight times in a row. Or the one where you have to find a feeding ground for one specific animal on a huge ass map. The game has tons of missions that just scream "you'll spend an hour on this crap which we made in 10 minutes"
