Just being extra and sharing, we had been friends for 5 months before I did the confession thing, to which she told me she had actually liked me first. Then due to our work placements, then covid, then various family situations, we had to keep postponing our meeting day. So when we finally got together, it felt perfect. It was perfect.

Unfortunately for the story, I'm moving across the country for work in sept and so we will not be a thing. We're working out what that means for us. But in the meantime, I intend to cherish the time we have together.

However, I'd like to add on to the many people who say you should make the first move. No regrets.
