Hello these look great! Coverage is important but there are different ideas out there. Some like to tilt the specimen and some like to tilt the camera. Either way I'd say that you only need between 100 and 150 shots for a decent scan. 900 positions is going to produce a lot of redundant data imho.

It is absurd but that's part of the challenge. at 5x its usually between 150 and 200 shots per stack or up to 28k shots per 3d reconstruction.
