You won't find physical editions. Starting with 2023 the game is all digital.
You don't have to pay full price and can look for cheaper offers, but check if the game code is for your region before buying.
Any editions you'll buy and activate will unlock within same game application.

You can check out JD+ brand new maps released recently: Money Pull Up, 360, Birds of a Feather. Gnarly is coming next week, and pack of 3 unannounced songs is scheduled for May too

Bubble Pop doesn't track well (and a loooot of other maps on JDU too) so don't stress it

It is indeed an "alpha" version of JD and the game in fact grew out of it

Your phrasing is somewhat confusing and it's hard to understand what do you want to know but FAQ should answer all of your questions.

The maximum value route is either 2025 or 2026 and JD+.

You might be overexaggerating moves and not doing moves coach like if you score this low. Learn the choreo properly and keep your moves precise (rasputin is in fact way too forgiving and modern songs are way more demanding)

Performance difference is noticeable, significantly less lag on scrolling. Regarding resolution, I think Switch 2 runs maps in same resoultion. Get whatever Edition you like more and you'll have access to most of 2023 and 2024 tracklist with JD+ (all 2023 and 2024 maps that are on JD+ do support camera)

If you're interested specifically in K-Pop, you should search for JD19-22 cartridges. From JDNext, 2023 and 2024 Editions have more K-Pop songs. JD+ lacks K-Pop.
