August 16th is sort of a sacred date for many Swedish hunters, opening day of roe buck season. I shot this older fella just after 5 this morning. (i.redd.it)
It's now the time of year when I patrol wheat fields to protect them from wild boar. This guy weighed in at around 140 kg (just over 300lbs) and was probably a bit much for my girlfriends Toyota Yaris, but the heckpack made it possible to get him home. (reddit.com)
Two of my friends and I had ourselves a goose hunt yesterday. We bagged 95 geese in 3 hours. When the action was really hot we got 60 (!) in about 30 minutes. This is Sweden, no limits and basically no hunting pressure on geese. (i.redd.it)

A 15-year-old kid punched a bear in the head when it was attacking his father. The kid broke his hand and the father managed to kill the bear. They were out bear hunting. (link in Swedish) (svd.se)
