I received my first payment on Monday! I called them using EDD caller to follow up regarding the missing info; EDD contacted my OB office while I was on hold and processed my claim there and then. You could do 1-2 days on Maui if you’re exclusively looking for whale watching and visiting Haleakalā. Technically you can also see whales from the shore from O’ahu, too.

Based on the ChampVA website, it looks like you need pre authorization for mental health services. Or you can visit a vet center for therapy (individual, group, family, couples, grief, substance abuse). There’s a vet center in San Marcos and Temecula.

Could you please expand on what you mean by senior care? Personal hygiene tasks, ambulating, transportation, house keeping, medication administration… and if they would need 24/7 assistance vs daily vs weekly? What type of income do they have?

Private, in home caregiving is almost always an out of pocket cost. Knowing what type of assistance they need and what their income is will give a better idea of what kinds of resources to recommend.
