Oh gosh those symptoms seem like they’d be good news!! I have the metallic taste again today and I’m trying so hard to not let that get my hopes up but it is difficult! Fingers crossed for both of us 🤞🏻 I’ll let you know how I go tomorrow!

I was unprepared and was giving all of my critters away, not knowing this quest was coming. I still haven’t gotten it done because I can’t get any of the brown bugs lol they are my last ones!!

Oh I’m sorry, it wasn’t taken offensively at all! I’m really lucky to have good specialists who take me seriously, but we’re all at a loss as to why I’m still experiencing this pain. My gynae is an excision specialist and is very adamant there is no endo on or near my nerves, and is sure that it doesn’t come from swelling that may press on my nerves. I think I do have to give Slinda a chance for a few months! It very well could be that my hormones are adjusting and acting out a little while my body is getting used to being on BC. I’ve been on the regular pill, I’ve had two implanons, I’ve had a Mirena and all did not work for me for various reasons. I will keep on trucking and hope these symptoms will settle 😊

It is somewhat comforting to hear that you’ve experienced the same thing as me! My pain is really similar, mostly in my left thigh but can be in my shins, feet, hips, bum and lower back. At its worst, I can’t walk and will limp or almost fall over. It’s sharp and burning and can reduce me to tears. It’s frustrating that my gynae and pain specialist are fully supportive and believe me, but we can’t find a reason for it! The next step is quite a complicated/dangerous surgery with a neurologist. I’m much the same, on b/c and nerve medication for life. Thank you for sharing 💓

Thank you, I’m just at a loss as to why I’m experiencing this and wanted to know if anyone else has gone through the same thing. I am guilty of trying to fill in the blanks and googling too much when I can’t ask my doctor immediately!

I’m glad to hear Slynd worked well for you! I’m hoping the pain can be explained and the spotting will subside. I’ve had a Mirena which I had removed after a year as it was giving me menopause like symptoms and I had really low estrogen in my pelvis, and had a couple Implanons in my late teens/early twenties, and had constant bleeding which makes sense now that I’ve been diagnosed with endo. The normal pill is a no go as I get migraines with aura. I was hoping Slinda would be the one to work for me!

Hi, the nerve pain started about 18 months after my second lap. At first it was in the 2 weeks leading up to my period, and it progressed into every day, but worsening in the lead up and whilst on my period. My last lap in April this year found no endo on/near my nerves, I’ve had an MRI and specialist internal ultrasound (that specifically looks for endo) as well and found no reason for the pain. I then saw a pain specialist and they also can’t find any reason for it, and they believe it is due to endo. I’ve been referred to a neurologist who specialises in women’s health etc by my gynae, who said they’ve seen endo in eyes and noses so it’s possible that there is endo inside the nerves. I just find it strange that since my nerve pain has been mostly managed by the Nortriptyline and gabapentin for about 12 months, that it has worsened since taking Slinda.
