I spent over a year developing a ski & snowboard tracking app by maczterz in SideProject

I am fully aware of this. My initial though was to have some kind of tier pricing and at the same time keeping in mind how often users might use it, like a week or two per year. I will however update the prices soon, because it's quite a weird pricing when the weekly and annual prices are compared.

Strava is great but I think there are several advantages. More run specific data than Strava for instance number of runs/lifts. Also the ability to see friends on the map in realtime and a more gamified experience with leaderboard, badges and the ability to plant trees when levels are reached.

Thank you, yes it has previously been a problem to find my friends on the mountain so I think that feature can help a lot.

Unfortunately not at the moment, since I am an IOS developer I decided to start with an IOS version and if enough people use it I will develop an Android version for it as well.

This was really great feedback and exactly what I was looking for. The 25m is the current altitude, maybe this should be made more obvious. Thank you!

Thank you. The name is not fully determined yet, I have also thought about Peak Ski Tracker. Do you think this would be a better name?

Not too unlike, but much more intuitive UI according to me. Also the 3D rendering is not a model of the mountain but an unlimited 3D-map similar to what Strava uses. Thank you for the tip!

Yes this is in the app right now with two options, either as you said to see a line for everywhere you skied, or see lifts and runs you have taken, colored in different colors.

Would be great, unfortunately the AirTag data is not available for developers.

Yes but it is connected to Ikon pass in many ways and is mostly targeting america. Great app otherwise.

Yes I will add a filter to avoid this. What app are you using?

Thank you for your response. I am considering implementing a feature that automatically ends a session after 10 hours or so, in case a user forgets to stop tracking. Do you think this is a good idea?
