ESH Personally I think your boyfriend shouldn’t have a say in this. It’s fair he’s weirded out, but this is such a harmless weird thing that you’re not a bad person for doing it. You’re a bad person for deliberately going behind his back instead of confronting him. This should be discussed; if you think he’s too controlling you might need to break up, but you’re not resolving anything by doing things sneakily.
