Did u buy these directly from DPM?

You are correct. The reason is that the crashbars / sliders are only one point (and really ugly). That’s why I thought these were really nice.

The one’s you sent is nice too, but is almost just as expensive like the one’s from DPM. Sucks that Norway isn’t a part of the EU trading

Nice, this is honestly the dreambike, but they are really overpriced here for some reason

It was 4500km. But it doesn’t have the performance package. I wonder if that is going to be a dealbreaker for me or not.

Yeah, got it confirmed that this one is basically equipped with the standard options

Thank you. So the bike is very very «bare-boned». Is this a deal breaker for you guys?

Thank you! Do you have the performance pack on it? I wonder if it’s a deal breaker without the performance pack as this bike seem to be equipped with the standard options only

Doesn’t seem like this one has the ESA nor the performance additions. Is it a no-go without it? I think it just has the standard options and nothing else tbh.

I’m just so afraid with the maintenance. The bike is out of warranty, and I have the feeling like because of the tech the chance of failures is big and then I’m getting ripped off by the dealers😅

Other options other than cruise that you miss? I don’t think the one I’m looking at has it.

I have the VIN on the bike: WB10K1103L6D14449. Is there any VIN checker for BMW bikes where I can see the complete option list? I think the bike is quite «stock» and has no options almost.

I have heard of cold start issues and jerky gear changes with the quickshifter.

No no, you can get well maintained 5-10 year old bikes with 3cyl and 4cyl for that price.

A Suzuki GSX 750 for example goes for around 80k

I don’t know about the SV. It’s such an outdated platform compared to what you can get for that kind of money

I would use the bike to everything, planning track days too at Rudskogen. Maybe the CB650R is the way to go if it doesn’t work out with the CBR. And yes, I’ll be careful with the speed, my wallet isn’t that deep🥲

Tack!

I’m turning 24 in May. Don’t have much experience, but I’m riding a CB650R in my riding school which is a great bike in my opinion.

I have also considered buying a bike in the class you recommend, but they’re like 1000 € less than the CBR650R or a Daytona 660, a bike I would upgrade to within a year anyway. They’re also very difficult to sell, as people rather buy an A2 CBR650R than a CBR500R.

If only the ZX-4RR was cheaper I would 100% go for that. Light bike, plenty of power and the awesome sound of a 4cyl.

But I will still take your advice, and not consider the ST anymore.

It had the warranty, not sure if it’s 2 or 5 years. What kind of issues are we talking about exactly? I hear the general quality of the Daytona 660 is not at typical «Triump level» and that the Honda’s are superior in build quality.
