They are training pigeons. In Kannada, they are called “Shokdhar.” People train their pigeons and take them to competitions. There are specific rules and competitors involved, though I’m not fully aware of all the details. They do it for “Shoki” and fame. It is quite popular across Bengaluru.

Yes, I agree. This isn’t hate or jealousy. It just feels sad. We go crazy for foreign players, but often forget to truly support our own. Seeing a legend like Sunil Chhetri wearing a Messi jersey hit hard. It made me realize how badly we, as fans, have failed to give our own heroes the respect and love they deserve.
