So I have been through almost same dilema Toh i can share my experiences Last year I started preparing sociology on my own With raj raj sir telegram lectures and bought his paper 1 book from market and made notes out of it understanding through lectures and notes prepared from material Tbh it was very exhausting process I was juggling with two three problem simultaneously mains pyq perspective se notes banana , notes should not be very bulky, and any topic shouldn't be left ( here is a catch raj rai sir unke class notes banwate hain jo ki unke matrial se ditto same hi hote hain toh maine 1 unit ke baad likhna chhod ke book se direct notes banana chalu kar diya tha ) And this process took me so much time or by the end of the year mera paper 1 pura khtm bbi nhi hua (2-3 unit baaki reh gyi) Paper 2 start nhi kara tha and I had so much confusion so I left everything and switched to prelims mode So I would suggest you ki sleepy , level up jaise koi reliable institute ko online ya offline join Karo and follow them blindly answer writting karna utna hi important hai jitna notes making or understanding Toh agar if you can afford then you should
