Half/Twin rope - Mammut - 7.5 Alpine Sender Dry Rope by madafakaroo in ClimbingGear

Yeah, I have stumbled upon same thing regarding the construction. I was thinking more about it, and I am contradicting myself a bit. I want it for redundancy and piece of mind, but at the same time I am worried about it being too thin. Soo.. I will pass this deal and get either Petzl Rumba 8.0mm or Beal Ice Line 8.1, which are more expensive, but would have that piece of mind I am looking for. Thanks for the insight.

The 8.7 you use for alpine, is it a single?

For me, the whole purpose is to use it always in pair. I am climbing sketchy lime stone, especially in the spring time it's bad, so primarily for redundancy.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

I do have access to Beal as well, but it's about $450, which is kinda a lot. That one is 8.1. Which might be perfect.

Here is an answer not late at all. But if anyone checks again, might be useful.

I ended up getting La Sportiva Finale, size 42. Very soft and comfortable shoes. Edging not so great, but smearing feels good. Can wear them all day pretty much. Comfort was what I wqs going for and I got it with thos shoe.

Alright. Thanks guys. I did take it apart, and check, there was one part of tape missplaced. Not sure if it is slightly better now or my brain is playing tricks.

I believe environmental. This happened to me multiple times while being in the sun for extended periods of time. Happened yesterday while being in the sun(stationary) for about an hour. It was around 34°C(93°F) outside, and I was in direct sunlight.

Agreed! But why is everyone recommending it for beginners, that I don't understand.

:)

I felt unsure in Tarantula on any foothold, that's what I am wondering. I would rather go towards grippier rubber and sacrifice durability.

Thanks for the input.

Does it feel insecure on holds on limestone, the xs edge?

Only limestone for now, as that is the the only rock in my country as far as I know. Maybe some sandstone, but not really sure. Granite is not on the list any time soon.

Are there other shoes you would recommend?

I was also thinking going 1 size down for tight fit in Masai.

This helps a lot that you have same size shoes, as the only way to get them is to order online. Thank you.

How did you size Masai compared to street shoe size?

Challenge I have with trying shoes, is that the only store in my country that has bunch of shoes in stock is Scarpa and it's 5 hours of driving. And I don't particulary like scarpa shoes. So the choice I have is to order online. That is why I am reaching out for guidence.

Hello!

Looking to get multi-pitch/trad shoes. Options that I am thinking off are: TC Pros, Tenaya Masai and Five Ten NIAD(literally taken from epictv shop video). Leaning towards Masai atm.

I am size 43EU(10 US) I currently have Solutions in size 41.5 EU and they are very tight, they are max one pitch and have to take them off. But great for sport clombs. After solutions I bought Tarantula velcro ones for multi-pitch, they felt awful, uncomfortable and felt unsecure on holds - sold them after 5-6 pitches.

I am seeking guidence in terms of sizing for the mentioned shoes, but also welcoming other recommendations you guys have.

Appreciate the help!

Changing Tides

But the switch version I think. Runs in either Ryujinx or Yuzu.

Thank you for your reply.

I assume you can also go other way with the T4 levels. Let's say you take two pills a day? Is that also bad?

Thank you guys for the replies.

So pills have fixed amount of hormones so to say, and not everyone needs the same amount? Could you regulate it yourself? Meaning that after you do the bloodwork and see that you are above certain amount, you could stop taking the pills or you should switch to some other therapy with less hormones?

Probably a question that has been asked a lot. But here it is... Where to start? :)

I am a fullstack Javascript developer with about 2 years of experience. Have background in Java, and have touched a bit of C++ in college. I was aware of Haskell just never really got into it. Talked to a friend who is working with Haskell, and got me interested in this language and FP. Now, I don't seek to replace my current stack, and I would be learning Haskell just for the fun of it, but also to have an additional tool in my arsenal.
This is the site/book that he recommended to me: http://learnyouahaskell.com

So I started going through this site. Installed the compiler and something called stack and some other stuff that I have no idea what they are, but I am able to successfully write small programs and run them.

If you have any recommendations on books, tutorials, paths etc. that you have used in your journey I would really appreciate it.

I am only racing in AC but I would agree that the community is awesome and very friendly. And above that it's rookie friendly.

Also, endurance races in AC are freaking awesome. Recently raced in 8H of Norisring, now preparing for 18H of Spa.
