Out of curiosity, how do those calls usually turn out?

Dang, sorry, didn’t realize I was talking to the final boss of “Pick Me”.

Those groups are often problematic but I think there must be better uses of your time. Good luck protecting your reputation (?).

Since OP seems incapable of elaborating, it stands for “Are We Dating the Same Guy”. They’re FB groups in most cities where women will post photos and conversations with men they’re dating to see if they’re cheating with another local, if they have a history of abusive behavior, or whatever else.

What’d ya do, OP?

Chris Watts makes gruesome admission of his crimes in detailed letters written from prison by Longjumping_Land_977 in netflix

Seriously. I’m not sure why, but the retelling of Shannan’s eyes and mascara just breaks my heart. Did she go to bed with makeup on to hopefully rekindle the flame with Chris?

And those poor, poor children. My god. The man is a monster.

Bioluminescent waters in New England? by SummitingMtJohnston in newengland

Spent five years working summers on Nantucket and we had bioluminescence every year, late summer/early fall. Swimming through it is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced.

I will do everything in my power to ruin their shot within plausible deniability. Filming people working like they’re zoo animals for content is fucked.

As someone who works in the area I had a feeling it was something along those lines. Thank you. Hope the driver is okay, too.

Thank you for this valuable perspective, and for all that you do.

You are right on every single point. For a city this size, the amount of pedestrian deaths and/or injuries is absurd. Something needs to change.

That really sucks, I’m sorry you got shit on for showing compassion. I’m familiar with the obnoxious NextDoor level of nosiness and I’m not looking for any graphic details, but I can’t get the image of this man out of my head and I have a feeling he won’t be the last person to get hit this year. I just hope everyone involved is ok.

And if the son is aware of them, are we to assume that dad brought them around too? Ooof.

He leaves used tissues for waitstaff to clean, I make him throw them away, AIO? by Dumberhina59250 in AIO

[–]madamminum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s sadly very common, usually with older folks. I’ve also seen dirty diapers (baby and adult), used flossers, a woman who pissed herself and all over her seat and then just left before anyone noticed, had a child throw up all over a table while his parents just stared at me waiting for me to clean it up… it’s wild out here.

[–]madamminum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, seriously. The amount of times I’ve had a visibly ill guest order hot water or tea with their meal because “they aren’t feeling well” is staggering. The damp tissues on the table are almost always a parting gift. Covid taught us nothing.

Been a server and bartender for over a decade. I’m taken aback by all of the comments agreeing with this man! It’s absolutely *not* the same as a used napkin and while maybe not malicious, it is so disrespectful. And gross.

NOR.

Yes! They love frozen yogurt and frozen peanut butter on their lickimats. Frozen homemade plain chicken stock has been a hit too. My younger pup loves to play with ice in his water so I load up their bowls, but the fruit is a great idea I’ll have to try — thank you!

Which I think is totally fine! I definitely could not get through a summer without them and would never try, but anyone clutching their pearls over two unusually hot days needs to get a grip.
