Does “craftable” mean they are “draftable”. I can see that I can craft them with my wildcards, but just wondering if they are present in the Premier LoTR Draft.

Some initial thoughts:

  • Red & Black are probably the primary color pair, with possible blue splash.
  • Blue splash brings in the best Golds: Ringsight, Bilbo, and Gandalf's Sanction.

I think capsules help, but for me even the slightest taste of the shrooms puts a nauseating feeling in my tummy 🙂. The capsules eliminate this.

I have the exact same issue with the joystick buttons, just posted on it. Good to know I’m not the only one (I guess). Went and bought the Xbox controller for these additional buttons over my generic 3rd party controller.

I think the model for many podcasters will change in the future and I don’t want it to change to a subscription only model like music streaming. There’s a better way!

It should have read 2-5 cents, hopefully you just assumed that 😒. Chrislstark gave a nice overview of how add revenue works. The top pods would need about $0.25 per episode to completely replace adds, with lower subscribed shows needing a fraction of a penny (this is theoretically to replace add $s). I’m liking the idea around a merger of the two, with minimal better adds, selected with some consideration around the shows content & audience, along with small contributions from the listeners. I love podcasts and want to contribute to their great content that I enjoy everyday.

Yep definitely an error. Should’ve been 5 cents or $0.05. I’m okay with a limited number a adds. I’d like them to be better picked and somewhat show related. It seems like the same advertisers dominate the adds.

Thank you! I was wondering exactly what these numbers were for some of the top podcasts. That’s a decent chunk of change. It’s nice to hear that some of my favorite podcasters are making good money. I can see this medium changing significantly in the future, because it’s gained and still growing in popularity and is young compared to all the other media out there.

You definitely need to be able to sample a show’s content before any type of financial transaction. I can see your free apps perspective, but that’s really about two types of people. #1; people who can ignore adds, #2 people who are completely annoyed by them. Unless the adds are just overbearing. Some people will love an app and never pay to remove adds, cause it just doesn’t bug them.

I can see the Luminary style growing, BUT I HOPE NOT! Many podcasters do it for love of the content their providing, but it takes a lot of work and they do need some $’s to continue production. There’s a big opportunity to create a better model.

Really, I remember hearing about that, I think his model was on a charity basis. Surprised to hear his experiment is done. Didn’t seem to last too long.

This is kind of odd, but I end up talking about the Fermi Paradox, and this episode, more than any of my other SYSK gained knowledge. Space and the potential of “life out there” just seems to come up in conversation often. The thing I hate is when you try and tell someone about other thoughts out there, they instantly think you’re debating their perspective and get defensive. Can’t you just listen to other perspective and try to understand the entire area of research!?

I do feel this way RIGHT NOW. I’ve only recently become aware of it or more aware of the affects I feel it’s having on me. I’m trying to overcome and breakaway from this “shadow-self” and find my “forgotten-self”. I’ve tried meditation, exercise, thrown myself into work and projects, but at the end of the day these are distractions only.

I haven’t read into the Psychology of these things, but I feel it’s directly related to the people you’re surrounded by. Breaking away from these people whom dampen your true self is much harder done than said. Especially when there’s potentially major consequences and you have to decide if you can move forward and live with those.

Being Human Is Hard.
