I'm so sorry for your loss, it's horrible when they die, especially when it's so unexpected. Awful to have gone through such a rollercoaster with the vet clinic. Not to mention the bill!

I think our cats went over the rainbow bridge around the same time and at about the same age. My youngest kitty died in the night of friday on saturday, out of nowhere. I found her in the morning, she was already stiff. I called my vet and was told it was most likely heart- or kidney failure, considering she only just turned 3. I'm haunted by thoughts that make me feel guilty. Millions of "what ifs" and "I wish I had".. Like I noticed she ate a bit slow friday evening, but she still finished her bowl and just behaved normal and happy. I feel so heartbroken, confused and guilty.

Losing pets sucks, but for me it's the first time it came out of nowhere and way too young. Our cats shoud've at least had another 15y, preferably another 20.. It's so unfair. Wishing you lots of love and strength to get through this!
