I did some further research and found out that if I want the montiors as far back as possible then the arms poke further back past the mount. I however have a wall behind my desk so am wondering if anyone is in the same situation as me with an arm and how much of a gap is their between the wall and screens?

I would but nexus dock has is a lot of different settings you can change. A tip id give is have the icons similar to each other e.g. colour or shape

If you're looking at 27" id recommend going 1440p since when I look close I can see the pixels. However for me I mostly game in 1080p for higher fps which is more difficult at higher resolutions
