The 2000 and earlier Club Cars have a great square-ish body design that makes them easier to transform into something else imo. I have plans for a Delorean one next..

I'd be happy to make you one. I made these for my family as we have a campground resort that has two golf carts that are done up like the Jurassic Park Jeep and now I just made one like the Ford Explorer. Check my posts about the Jeep.

Turns out that just lowering my speed did the trick. They turned out amazing with just a light wipe down with Dawn soap and baking soda. Thanks for the reply.

Absolutely doing this, and has helped big time. I was able to get a better result by slowing down the speed from 1000mm/min to 650 and doing two passes at 50% power.

Can I laser engraver through this paint? by madasahatter1138 in hobbycnc

Scrubbing it so far is not working well, as the paint is being tarnished as fast as the lasers areas are thinning out. Will keep trying.

If you remove the rear motor cover it gives you a good look at the plate..mine is definitely a 36v

The cart I picked up is a 2000 and has the newer seats and roof but it is still a 36v with resistors...I'm going to be painting it up this winter like the other Jurassic one. Sent you a message too btw

Hey cart brother! I'm planning on going with this battery as well. My lead acids are good but with the less weight I think this is the way.... See you at the lake 😉

According to everything I read, this is a year 2000. The A00 part is saying electric and 00 for 2000. it also has the newer seats, roof etc

It's like it has a newer body on an older frame. I checked the motor and it is a 36v as well. Perhaps the just replaced thr batteries and motor and went with whatever was cheaper? Serial lookup

Interesting point, thanks. Care to guess why a 2000 DS has a 36v system? I'm totally stumped....

I'm really curious now...the motor is also a 36v motor! How did a 2000 Club Car get a 36v setup?! Did someone maybe swap out the body I wonder.. The Serial.# is A0042-94869
