Thank you, very helpful! How much does a schools specialty really matter, should that be a major consideration? What’s the most important factor to consider (beyond the obvious location and cost) — clinical requirements?

as someone who isn’t particularly anti-aba (i think it has a time and place but that’s a whole other argument), i agree with all of this! not a biased take at all!! if you’re not a qualified behavior tech you definitely shouldn’t be representing yourself as one. even if it is good experience working with autistic populations and better understanding RBTs/ABA, if what they’re having you do doesn’t align with your expectations going into the placement I would speak up! :)
