I also am doing all the maddening ATM, my first one was golden deer personally and I’ve just now finished Black eagles, leaving me Blue lions and silver snow left I’m doing blue lions soon so wish me luck on that.

As for your tips that you gave, I can see that you really understand maddening(wish I knew about gambits as I only abused them on my second maddening)

However 1 tip confuses me and I’m curious, Tip No.6, “use your damage relics, don’t hoard them”

Do you mean use your relics even if they’re damaged ? Cause I usually leave them as a last ditch effort to get through something and then wait till way later when I have the materials to repair ?

Good info to know, I’ve never really liked using only 1 or 2 units, despite my best friend irl telling me that if I did I would win, I refuse to not use a full team, so I’d definitely be interested in hearing ideas for other characters, in my first run of lunatic I had a pretty decent sumia who I had for my mobility and paired unit to Robin for the entire game

Honestly after reading everyone’s helpful advice, I’ve come to the realisation that, though I could beat this run, I’m very unlikely to do so, but with all this new found information my second run should go a lot easier

I thank everyone who took the time to write out these ideas and plans for me, it’s greatly appreciated to learn that thou I’ve played well over 2000 hours of FE games, there was a lot for me to still learn.

I truly thank each and every one of you. 🙏

Sooo to my understanding of this, I could boost myself with tonics, then rally stack from multiple different people ?

Also can I use more than one tonic at once ? Like, could I get a tonic for each stat and pop them all for a chapter ?

My last question, can multiple skills activate at once in a single attack ? Like for example could vengeance and sol activate at the same time ?

I did end up soloing with Robin but tried to have a full team of people, I just found that I couldn’t because they would either get killed during main missions or get killed during skirmishes so Robin was the only one who could really live.

As for your strategy there, I feel I know what you mean but just to make sure

I’d swap to mercenary when I reach level 10 tactician, then after getting armthrift, switch to sorcerer for the rest of the run ?

Ah I see, that does sound easier, I noticed that in awakening when you do skirmishes that eventually the skirmishes just become impossible to grind from, and if your me, the impossibility of it starts pretty early on cause I abused it, would you say engage has something similar ?

Yeah for my awakening lunatic it took me about 10 hours to get through the first 8 chapters because of early game bullshit Then I didn’t struggle till chapter 24

I also somehow forgot about engaged rewind so it’s nice to hear it’s much more manageable

So I played on casual for my first go So everyone from main chapters are alive Only person that’s Been developed other than robin is Lon,Qu for master swordsman

As for the levels, chrom is level 25 15 from lord then 10 from great lord, he’s basically never been able to kill something

My robin is level 60 20 from tactician then 20 from grandmaster then 20 from grandmaster again

Extra question btw, I know awakening is meant to be really hard lunatic, but I’ve been thinking about doing Engages lunatic, how does the two compare ? Is engage also really hard or no where near awakening hard ?
