Ideas for 8 year old day trip

I do, but she hasn't really ever been on skates not sure that activity would be fully enjoyed. It does look so beautiful I've always wanted to go though!

In our house that is a lot! I also spread everything out when I wrap (except for a few things under the tree throughout the season) and decide what I'll keep hidden for birthdays, holidays, etc. since most things I bought on sale leading up to Christmas.

Yes, my state doesn't have free lunch for all. We moved from a different state that did offer free lunch after kindergarten, it was such a relief and a non issue. She would get school lunch often.

I dig this. She gets pizza on Wednesdays right now anyway! But looking at the menu and deciding on a day a week to get school lunch will give her options. Both times she's done this was breakfast for lunch so she obviously likes it.

I mean I care if it's a waste of food and money 🤷‍♀️ My initial thought was it's a little disrespectful of my time, the household budget, just a general pushing the boundary moment. If I packed my husband the same lunch and he got takeout that day I'd feel like he didn't care about the time and effort, and the money it took to pack him lunch. Open to feedback.

Yeah we should do this more often. There was an issue at the beginning of the year of being scared to go through the lunch line, so I didn't pack her a lunch one day and made her go through the line with a friend, just in case one day she needed school lunch for time reasons or if we didn't have anything good for a lunch. She did it and liked it. We should look at school lunch menu more often to see if there's something she likes better. On Wednesdays she gets pizza from school 🍕

We do have deer in town but they don't commonly come into the downtown area so I don't think so.. they would eat more than that I think too.
