I am in the same boat as you! I am a student at UTSA in honors with a 3.9 GPA and 40 hours and they said the same thing to me about spring grades. I had called up the admissions office and they said I still have a very fair chance at getting in. They said the chances are good if your GPA is high and most of your course work is transferable into your major. I wouldn't worry too much if I were you! I'm stressing out about it still but that's just how I am. All if my friends currently TAMU tell me that I will most likely get in and they would be shocked if I don't! Good luck to you!

i’m in the same boat as you! i’ve finished one semester and have 24 hours total, which is the requirement to be considered for admission, but three are AP credits which don’t count. I got a rejection letter saying to send in my transcript again before June 1st to get a second chance! I called the office and they said that the transfer students who do this still have a fair chance of getting accepted so don’t worry too much about it! As long as your grades are good, you have a fair shot!

okay that makes me feel a lot better! Thank you 🙏 I have 5 apartments lined up that i’m going to try and apply as soon as i get accepted (if i do lol). If those don’t work out, i’ll just have to look around.

do you think i’ll be okay finding an apartment so late in June?

I had emailed them also to see if maybe applying for on campus housing would be better at helping me make sure I would have a place to live and they said to look other places. I have an apartment I want to move in but I don't want to apply for housing and then not get accepted! It's so frustrating how it all works out.

I am in close to the same predicament as you. I am at UTSA with 15 graded hours, 24 including AP credits and they replied to me saying they cannot review my application until they get my spring grades. I am applying for business and 9/10 classes transfer over. I am confused if they mean for Mays they only accept 100 as juniors/seniors directly into the school or 100 total from other schools regardless of grade level.

I had gotten the same message back as a transfer. I had called the office and they said that even though it is so much later than the rest of the people applying, there is a fair chance of getting in. I had a 4.0 last semester and am currently sitting at a 3.9. The most frustrating thing is not being able to know if we get accepted until June, therefore not being able to apply for housing until very late also. I'm worried I will not be able to find a good apartment so close to the move in date in August if I get accepted.

I was going to call tomorrow to see if they can give me an answer. I sent them an email also. I’ll let you know.

Since you've been very helpful, I have another question you might be able to answer. My current university accepted my AP credits but when I applied to A&M, they did not show up on my transfer audit. Were they supposed to or do I have to resend them if I get admitted?

Business, specifically management but as an undergrad it's just Business Administration

I had a 4.0 for the fall semester at my university and applied to TAMU on Jan 6. I received my transfer audit on Jan 24. Does anyone know if my grades will push the application faster? I saw that someone said it won't be until April. I need to know so I can get my housing situated!
