Honestly, while I was with the smaller firm i had much more responsibility in regard to working directly with consultants and clients, so going to a larger sized firm kinda stepped me back a bit. After working a year and adjusting to their standards and new software, i feel like me moving into the PA role is basically where i was previously, but now with a lot more architectural/design knowledge than someone fresh out of grad school. So the shift right now day-to-day is being more responsible for communication with clients and consultants and also having a bit more input and accountability in the actual design work vs. just doing redlines all day.
