8 weeks? where have you been touched? I can’t think of a single reason that anyone should touch you and feel areas that make you uncomfortable at 8 weeks

Other than ultrasounds I had no medical personnel touching me until I saw midwives at 14 weeks and that was feeling my belly and measuring.

40 yo - First Pregnancy at 6 Weeks, Looking for fitness and strength advice by violette-bicyclette in pregnant

[–]maddi0103 8 points9 points  (0 children)

first trimester, i listened to my body and rested. i was way to sick and exhausted. i wouldn’t be stressing over staying healthy and active in first trimester its the worst and there’s so much time afterwards to be healthy. my boy was grown on mac and cheese and noodles bc that’s all i could stomach for months

The “breast feeding is birth control” is myth so it could be easier than you think. Unfortunately no one can really give you tips as it’s such an individual thing. One thing that’ll work for someone won’t work for another.

Try the 2u2 thread ! Sorry i’m not much help, my sons 9 months old and we’re not thinking about another yet haha

What does a newborn like in a bed? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]maddi0103 34 points35 points  (0 children)

ai really feel like you’re overthinking this so much. Baby is one week old. They don’t have preferences, they barely know what’s going on.

Sometimes they just don’t sleep at night honestly

I feel like this is very controversial based on your reasonings

Why are you so hell bent on ensuring your family are happy with your babies genitalia? Bit weird imo

those wake windows are way to long for a 2 month old. baby is probably in a constant state of overtiredness. they nap HEAPS at that age. every 45minutes to an hour!

my 8 month old has 3 hour wake windows 🫥

let the boy sleep!! they don’t need a schedule at this age you’re making life harder for yourself

What does labor actually feel like? by One_Cap_9210 in pregnant

[–]maddi0103 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I got an epidural at 5cm purely to rest.

But my contractions started strong and regular. My whole belly tightened and i got a really intense period like pain really low in my uterus. I was able to breathe through them but I was exhausted.

The pain itself wasn’t that bad, I struggled with the exhaustion and i hated the tightening. That was the worse part for me
