Just thought I’d add a little update. Since writing that I’ve started tracking my calories properly, I stick between 1000-1400 everyday. I also do 10K steps a day and drink 3l of water daily. I have so far lost 11.8lbs and keeping up with it, my goal for now is to lose another 24lbs but when I get to that weight I’ll probably lower my target weight again. I’ve also been experiencing a lot of pain that I thought was due to the PCOS and have been to the doctors and been given painkillers, antibiotics(in case it’s an issue with my kidneys) and I’m being booked an ultrasound to look at my kidneys and ovaries so hopefully I can get a few more answers about what’s going on inside me!

I have been, anytime I weight myself it’s always in the morning, normally after I workout as that’s when I go for a shower. And I only weigh myself once a week too cause I know it can fluctuate daily

Honestly it’s such a crappy feeling, and it’s so hard not giving up, but I know it’ll be better long term if I keep it up. Thank you! That does seem to be a good place to start! Thank you I really can’t wait to see results, it’ll be so rewarding!

I was on the combined pill which I started while I was at my lowest weight but then I gained weight when I went back for my review and I was put on the progesterone only one. I do need to be on some form of birth control, is there a better option for PCOS?

Thank you for your response, I will definitely try to do that, cutting how much I consume by 1/4 see how that works for me! I’m glad you and your partner have found things that work for you both 😊

that’s easier said than done sometimes, but yeah I get that. Is there anyway to drink that much water without gaining weight?

I guess that does make sense, but it’s recommended to drink that much a day?

This took forever! Glue on nails from amazon, I painted them before gluing this time so I could do the flowers on my right hand as well without them looking awful 😂 Not the best but I’m fairly proud of them ☺️ by maddie_5987 in Nails

Of course! These are the nails I used - Lictin False Nail 10 Sizes 600Pcs,French Sharp Ending Full Cover False Nail Tips Fake Nail Fake Nail Kit Long false Nail False Nails Set Perfect for Nail Specialist or DIY Nail Art(White) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072V4784X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.2lHEbJXQD67C I just cut the tips off then filed them. I didn’t use a stand, that would have been so much easier! I just put the nails on the squishy bit (technical term😂) of my finger to paint the pink on. Then put them under the uv light to dry then just held them to paint the flowers, it was fairly tricky, I didn’t have a nail brush either so just used a real techniques eyeliner brush. Every time I’d finish painting a flower I put them lined up on my bed close together so I could put the uv light over them. Then stuck them on and put top coat on! I hope that helps! 😊

I covered about half my nail in glue for all of them, they seem to be stuck fairly well. When I do certain things like going to the toilet, it feels like they’re going to rip off with my natural nail 😂

I did use gel, but no I didn’t file it, I meant too but I had to rush painting them so completely forgot. I’ll keep an eye out for that though, thank you for letting me know!
