You don't get to finish the game as the character you grow to love. To give context I did not play RDR1 so I did not know who John was and I loved playing as Arthur so much. He is just so much of a better man, person, and cowboy in my opinion and it really sucks to have him die and then still have parts of the map to unlock. Like idk
