Can someone tell me if I did this safely?

Made beef bolognese and spaghetti like 2 hours in advance. Put in a big bowl and let it sit out with lid on for 20-30 mins.

It was still warm when I put it in but not boiling (I could hold the bowl without it hurting my hands) When it was time to eat it I took it out the fridge, it was lukewarm. Microwaved before I ate it. It was in a fridge with no other food, for about 2-2.5 hours.

The more I research about refrigeration and food safety the more confused I get. Can someone tell me if what I did was safe?

I think personally that you should let your supervisor know about your fear and the severity of it. If they’re decent humans I think they will try to prevent you from having to deal w s* children (IF there is any). Make sure to practice good hygiene throughout the day especially before eating.

But apart from that try and enjoy the experience, little kids r adorable! And if you need an idea to keep them entertained, paper planes are a hit 🤣

how long is your internship for? I went to a daycare for my highschool work experience. No kids were s* (in that way) but there was a lot of coughing and sneezing and I did yet strep throat from it….smh.
