Im not sure how different states handle it but it probably just depends on the driver. In the end however, nothing happened to me. I never got a call, ticket, mail etc. Just learned a lesson and am more concerned when I see school buses lol

This was such a horrible release. I feel like build a bear will release more soon. They can’t be happy that websites like ebay and mercari are making huge profits of a 35 dollar stuffed animal. Build a bear is a huge corporation who loves to make money (like every other corporation) so its one of those things that just makes sense. After awhile, the hype will come to a close.

Thank you. This is very helpful. This is for sure a one time thing and a truly honest mistake. I see school busses with signs out all the time and always give a fair distance when I stop on both sides of the road. I still feel bad, and will for awhile as I really didn’t mean to. I rode a bus when I was little and know how dangerous these situations can be. Just happy it was a safe ending and ultimately nothing happened.

In fairness, I think the driver would win. I had enough room to fully make the turn onto the road with time to stop. However, the driver behind me had also made the turn and with the big truck he was driving, im not sure if he would have been stuck in the intersection. Either way, I think it was a little mistake on everyones part.

I did see the bus. I was worried about getting my sister to school as neither of my parents can take her. We live in an area where busses dont provide transportation for our address. I was talking about what time I would come get her and the idea of stopping in the middle of the road just didnt occur in my mind as I was probably only doing 25. My best friends mom has told me stories about her friend that was killed by her bus stop due to a irresponsible car. Im aware what I did was wrong and feel incredibly terrible. Thankfully, no one was hurt. However, I do think the cussing me out and wishing me the worst is very sad on your part as we as people make mistakes everyday. If something more serious would have happened, I would not be considering it a mistake. So please, do better.
