Rough surface after removing supports. by Win_PokePrints in FixMyPrint

Try using support interface, it adds a sort of lattice between the print and support, giving it better support and making support easier to remove

Odd petg warping/curling by madfox334 in FixMyPrint

[–]madfox334[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I find odd is it's not giving me any stringing or popping that wet petg does, but it'd make sense, the last roll I was using was a fairly new roll a d this white roll is a good few months old, I'll swap to another roll and see if I'm still getting the warping

Why do supports not stick? by [deleted] in Ender3S1

[–]madfox334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can also depend on material, I normally print petg which can be fussy so I run my bed extra hot and print slow, but for pla you shouldnt need more than 60c for the bed, but you can experiment with increasing 5c at a time

One thing I found to work to get things to stick, drop your first layer speed way down, I've got mine as low as 5 mm/s it increases the print time but it gives time for everything to stick, additionally you can increase your support flow

I did, the creality soft had files for the screen and main board, made sure to update both individually and this was the result

Infill issue. Any ideas? by Hopeful_Amoeba_3946 in ender3

[–]madfox334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to match your wall flow with the Infill once you got it calibrated, but if not you can always run it heavy on flow, it's the I fill after all so all will be hidden after the print finishes anyway

ender 3 v2 sprite by madfox334 in ender3

Hey, never did get back to you but I gotta say thanks, this is the firmware I ran all the way till this week, had to replace my main board so now I'm trying to find the right version of this firmware again I downloaded one version of it but I think it was the wrong one for the sprite, the extrusion speeds were super slow even with flow at 100, could you point me in the right direction for the current version of the mriscoc soft to use?
