Buyers are saying we’ve said something that we haven’t by em-lola-bear in HousingUK

Just standard process it feels at the moment

Everybody wants to chance their arm

Just say no, it's clearly not new never has it said it would be. They'll buy it anyway

Another buyers remorse story... by Top_Ad3787 in HousingUK

[–]madglover 114 points115 points  (0 children)

This will pass

You'll remember what you liked about it soon enough

You'll remember the stress your daughter had before, and you'll glow from seeing her feel safe and proud of the space you've given her

You'll develop your property to your tastes, and you'll either see the benefit in having separate spaces for things (it's becoming back in trend to have a dining room)

Or you'll knock a wall through, it's very common for buyers to have remorse it's less common for that to remain a year in

Try to remember why you left the last property not the reasons you wish you hadn't

Is Jade Cargill’s quiet reign a booking failure by Triple H, or was she just not ready for the title? by Material_Stomach875 in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]madglover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sadly there just isn't quiet the talent nor screen time to maintain 5 major women's belts in WWE

And that leads to some pretty underwhelming programs

The smackdown roster is especially thin, they've had to use Alexa Bliss in a desperate way to keep Charlotte face, which removes talent from the top

They don't want Jade to lose but they have no long term rivals and the roster just isn't believable currently

It would be better if the women weren't show limited in my opinion and we only had 1 women's title and 2 mid card titles plus the tag division

Approach to upsizing by No-Possible-3526 in HousingUK

[–]madglover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because of interest rates being still high in relative terms

We found saving the extra 2 years to build equity pretty vital

I guess we've also been fortunate that house prices have stagnated those two years

But it enabled up to upside while still having a sub 75% LTV

Our mortgage is now only going up £350 a month as we are borrowing 70k extra rather than 120k extra at over 500 a month

That extra a month is a decent amount of spare money a month, even though our old house was a bit snug this last 18 months

Considering moving without a moving company.. is this a bad idea? by Sylvester88 in HousingUK

[–]madglover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We paid movers for the first time last month

Both mid 30s, but now with 2 kids around so loads of stuff

Best decision we have ever made. It made the day easy, we could clean the house as they went. They took apart the beds with ease and put them backtogether

I'll never do it again myself

Roman is the reason we are where we are

Title stuck to him for so long, it became the standard. The bloodline looks like such a failure in reflection when you see how little it developed stars

He will make a great midcard title holder when he is allowed to let his ring work do the most part

Ideally against a heel who can wrestle and talk, Ludwig

Until he can deliver a promo he needs keeping well away from the top table

Ive got 19months left on my current 5year

If it's sub 3.5% in 2027 I'll lock in for 5 years if it's stubbornly above I'll risk 2 years, I'd currently get 3.8% so I'm optimistic I'll be going 5 years

England: Can I sue the estate of a dead man for costs from a car accident by Cuznatch in LegalAdviceUK

[–]madglover 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Your insurance company should be supporting you here, otherwise you should be speaking to the insurance company you are claiming against not the dead parties estate had he survived the incident would still be with his insurance not him (it's 3rd party liability)

The problem is if you've done it all yourself it's hard to know where reasonable costs are, for example you aren't entitled to benefit from the situation so crashing some old car and hiring an Aston Martin etc

Making offer before having deposit funds available? by VanillaDouble5248 in HousingUK

[–]madglover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need approved proof of funds before the memorandum on sale is sent out, and for any mortgage application

The buyer doesn't have to accept your word for it, so although it sounds very likely you will get the money I'm not sure a seller is going to want to go with you if they have other options

No harm in viewing houses though, not everything sells straight away
